Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG) at Indian Institute of Technology- Madras is a synergizing platform for Science and Technology (S&T) interventions, established in 2004 by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, it has functioned as a mechanism to provide high demand-driven science and technology interventions for rural areas through IITs and other technical institutions.
